Crocodile Shoes

This has nothing to do with Jimmy Nail; it's just that once I thought of him, I couldn't bear to post and not mention him and his reptilian footwear.

This is death of a different kind - but just plain old leather. I so missed out on a Rawhide! post title there.

Anyway - you can find instructions on how to make these here. They look cosy with the socks but I think they'd make awesome sandals in summer...probably not very sturdy, but stuff it, I've been wearing jelly shoes the past two years so this can't be much worse.
